Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules for using the VerifyFlow Service. By using VerifyFlow, you agree to comply with this policy.
1. Permitted Uses
VerifyFlow is designed for legitimate OTP verification use cases including:
- User login and authentication
- Two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Phone number verification during signup
- Transaction confirmation
- Password reset verification
- Identity verification for regulated industries
2. Prohibited Uses
2.1 Illegal Activities
- Facilitate any illegal activity under Nigerian law or international law
- Support money laundering, fraud, or financial crime
- Enable identity theft or impersonation
- Violate any data protection or privacy regulation
2.2 Harmful Communications
- Send threatening, harassing, or abusive messages
- Send unsolicited promotional or marketing messages
- Conduct phishing or social engineering attacks
- Distribute malware or malicious content
2.3 Platform Abuse
- Attempt to bypass monthly OTP limits
- Share or resell API keys to third parties
- Reverse engineer or probe the VerifyFlow infrastructure
- Create multiple free accounts to circumvent limits
3. Phone Number Consent
You are responsible for ensuring that end users have consented to receive OTP messages. You must not submit phone numbers of individuals who have not opted in or numbers obtained through illegal means.
4. Consequences of Violation
Violation of this AUP may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account without notice
- Permanent termination of your account
- Reporting to relevant authorities where required by law
- Legal action where damages have occurred
5. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of misuse of VerifyFlow, please report it immediately.
