These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VerifyFlow platform, APIs, and related services ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account, accessing the Service, or clicking "I agree to the Terms of Service", you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VerifyFlow provides a multi-channel One-Time Password (OTP) verification API that allows developers and businesses to send and verify OTPs via SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Email. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with plans as described on our pricing page.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key.
• You must notify us immediately at legal@verifyflow.io if you suspect unauthorized use.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:

• Send unsolicited messages, spam, or bulk promotional content
• Harass, threaten, or harm any individual
• Impersonate any person, business, or entity
• Send fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading messages
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law
• Facilitate phishing, scams, or social engineering attacks
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission

5. API Keys and Security

• Your API key is your responsibility. Treat it like a password.
• Do not share your API key publicly or in client-side code.
• We are not liable for charges resulting from unauthorized use of your API key.
• If your API key is compromised, contact us immediately.

6. Subscription Plans and Billing

• Plans are billed monthly in advance.
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
• Payments are processed securely through Flutterwave.
• We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. OTP Delivery

We make reasonable efforts to deliver OTPs promptly but do not guarantee delivery times. Delivery depends on third-party providers whose availability we cannot guarantee. OTPs expire after 5 minutes by default.

8. Monthly Limits

Each plan includes a fixed monthly OTP allowance. When your limit is reached, OTP sending will be suspended until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. We are not liable for losses resulting from limit exhaustion.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VerifyFlow from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or any messages sent through the Service.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
